Bitcoin briefly surpassed $100,000 for the first time last week but then dropped back below that level. Despite expectations of further price increases, an analyst suggests that Bitcoin is unlikely to reach new highs until January. According to Sean Dawson of Derive, the probability of Bitcoin reaching $150,000 by January 2025 is low, with a 6% chance of exceeding that level. Similarly, Ethereum has a 10.5% probability of reaching $6,000 by the end of January. These probabilities are based on derivatives market data, which has shown a stable 25 delta curve indicating unchanged investor expectations.
