Opera, the innovative web browser, recently released the latest version of its software Opera One, which includes a generative AI integration. This feature, known as AI Prompt, will help deliver users “contextual prompts” for web pages or highlighted text. This in-browser integration opens the door to a number of enhanced experiences like rapid text summaries, complex ideas explained, and content shapers like tweets. AI features for Opera One are automatically enabled and users have quick access to other AI tools like ChatGPT and ChatSonic from the browser’s sidebar.

The AI-enhanced version of Opera One is in its early access, but the company describes it as a future proof, Web3 platform. In addition, the browser recently released a security package called Web3 Guard, which helps protect users from malicious actors online. In synergy, these two tools offer a comprehensive package against potential online threats.

AI tools have been a high-priority in the technology industry, with major tech corporations like Google, Microsoft, Amazon and many others introducing new AI integration over the last few months. Additionally, the renowned technology entrepreneur Elon Musk has recently purchased thousands of GPUs for a Twitter AI project. His latest endeavor is a platform called TruthGPT, which will explore the depths of the universe.

At the same time, authorities in the US have been tightening control over crypto-related crime. The Crypto Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) recently proposed new regulations which are designed to detect and prevent illicit activities. As a result, illegal activities on cryptocurrency networks would become much more difficult in the future. Such regulations would serve as a deterrent and help protect the industry from malicious actors.
