Cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex is sponsoring a bootcamp program to help women in Paraguay learn coding, which will be held in June this year. As per the reports, the program is funded by the exchange to create a hub of learning called "DecentlyCoding", developed by Paraguayan entrepreneur and former Bitfinex Community Manager Octavio Villasanti.

The bootcamp is also supported by several other individuals and organizations including the blockchain-focused consulting firm Inblox Network, the blockchain venture builder HyperLabs, as well as Bitfinex CTO Paolo Ardoino.

The program aims to bring together professionals with different backgrounds in the tech space, including industry experts from the blockchain sector and coding veterans. It includes the use of both conventional and specific blockchain programming languages like Solidity and Ethereum, and gives participants the opportunity to develop practical skills through hands-on projects during the bootcamp.

Participants will learn to use development tools like web3, Solidity and Truffle and focus on topics such as distributed systems, cryptocurrency transactions and smart contracts. The bootcamp also offers hackathons and mentoring sessions, and will feature lectures on topics such as blockchain engineering and scalability.

The DecentlyCoding program is free to join, although applicants must meet specific criteria in order to participate. Villasanti said the program is designed to help those typically excluded from technology training to gain relevant skills, adding that the support from Bitfinex is invaluable.
