The Ethereum roadmap includes several significant upgrades in the next six months which promises to enhance the blockchain’s security and provide a better user experience. The new features aim to reduce transaction costs, address MEV attacks, and improve user friction with sophisticated solutions. Proto-Danksharding, Distributed Validator Technology (DVT), and proposer-builder separation (PBS) are some of the upgrades under development. Ideas are first discussed in forums like ethresear.ch, Ethereum magicians, and ETH R&D discord server, before being submitted as Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs). At press time, Ethereum (ETH) is trading at $1,894.77 with a 24-hour low/high range of $1868.6 to $1915 and a market cap of $228 billion. The Shapella upgrade seems to have been a successful one as the currency has outperformed Bitcoin by 15% in gains over the past week.
