CandleFocus Ripple Drops Another $25M Into Crypto PAC to Sway 2026 Congressional Races

Ripple Labs has contributed an additional $25 million to the Fairshake political action committee (PAC), bringing its total contribution to $73 million. The PAC, which also received funding from Coinbase and Andreessen Horowitz, aims to support pro-cryptocurrency candidates in order to advance legislation in the industry. Fairshake has a track record of backing at least 53 members of Congress in the upcoming term. The $103 million war chest amassed by the PAC is expected to make it a formidable force during the 2027 session. The three companies involved have not disclosed how decisions are made within Fairshake, but the PAC's spokesperson has stated that it supports candidates from both parties who are willing to collaborate on cryptocurrency-related legislation.
