Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas predicts that the approval of altcoin-related exchange-traded funds (ETFs) could make the crypto market more volatile. He mentions that 14 altcoin ETFs are awaiting approval by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the next year, including funds related to Solana, XRP, Hedera, Litecoin, and Bitcoin and Ethereum. Balchunas expects the number of altcoin ETFs to triple in the next two months. Despite uncertainty, analysts believe that the SEC could approve Solana-related ETFs within two years, while the Litecoin ETF has a higher chance of approval.
