Chaincode Labs, a Bitcoin research and development centre in New York City, has awarded its first Bitcoin scholarship to 17-year-old Ishaana Misra. Misra, the youngest contributor to Bitcoin Core, was selected from 232 applicants and will receive funding for her undergraduate education. The scholarship aims to encourage young people to consider a career in Bitcoin open-source development, giving them the opportunity to gain experience while continuing their education. Misra's involvement in Bitcoin development at a young age is inspiring and may encourage more youth to contribute to the industry.
