Crypto exchange Coinbase has released a transparency report revealing that it received 10,707 requests from global law enforcement and government agencies in the past year, an 18% drop from the previous reporting period. The US submitted the highest number of requests for the third consecutive year, while Coinbase saw significant declines in requests from Germany, the UK, and Spain. However, Singapore stood out with a 221% increase in requests, indicating growing regulatory activity in the region. The overwhelming majority of requests pertained to criminal enforcement matters, and Coinbase emphasized its commitment to compliance and customer trust.
