Crypto mining platform NiceHash is moving its headquarters from the British Virgin Islands to Zug, Switzerland in order to align with Switzerland's regulatory framework and comply with EU regulations. This includes the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) and the Travel Rule. NiceHash aims to conclude the transition by mid-December and reinforce its pro-compliance stance. MiCA, applicable from December 30, 2024, introduces comprehensive regulations for crypto assets and service providers, while the Travel Rule requires sharing customer transaction data to combat financial crimes. NiceHash provides a marketplace for hashing power and offers tools for crypto mining and asset management.
