Japanese investment company Metaplanet has increased its Bitcoin holdings with the acquisition of 107.913 BTC, bringing its total holdings to 506.745 BTC. The firm has spent approximately $31.9 million on Bitcoin purchases, with an average acquisition cost of $64,931 per BTC. Metaplanet's CEO has indicated that the company's goal is to accumulate 1,000 BTC. With its Bitcoin-focused strategy, Metaplanet has outperformed traditional financial assets like the US Dollar, Gold, and Japan's Nikkei share index. Market observers credit the firm's strong performance to its Bitcoin-only treasury strategy.
