Marathon Digital Holdings, a leading Bitcoin mining company, recorded a 5% increase in Bitcoin production in September 2024. The company mined 705 BTC, bringing their total holdings to 26,842 BTC. They also won 207 blocks, a 6% increase from the previous month. Marathon did not sell any Bitcoin during the month and continues to hold onto their mined assets. The company aims to reach a hash rate of 50 EH/s by the end of 2024. In August, Marathon raised $292.5 million and used a portion of it to purchase BTC. The company saw improved uptime and efficiency across its global mining sites in September. CEO Fred Thiel highlighted the progress and expects the conversion of their Granbury data center to be completed by year-end.
