Ethereum generated $2.48 billion in gas fees, despite underwhelming price performance. Tron experienced significant growth, securing $2.15 billion in fees, while Bitcoin earned $922 million. Solana saw an extraordinary 2,838.0% increase in fee earnings, reaching $750.65 million, becoming the most popular blockchain ecosystem. Layer 1 blockchains dominated fees, but layer 2 solutions like Base, Arbitrum, Linea, and Optimism also performed well. Base topped the layer 2 solutions with $84.78 million in gas fees.
