XRP, the third-largest cryptocurrency, has reached a significant milestone of six million holders. The XRP Ledger, known for its unique consensus mechanism and suitability for financial applications, now has 6,005,155 accounts containing 62,248,702,727 XRP. The adoption of the XRPL for financial and transactional purposes is highlighted by this achievement. XRP has gained traction recently, with a surge in price and holder count. It has increased by over 500% since November 2024 and is currently priced at $3.13, surpassing Tether in market capitalization. XRP reached a seven-year high of $3.40 recently. The cryptocurrency is up more than 20% for the week and is expected to attract significant investment if an XRP ETF is approved.
