Crypto-friendly political candidates won their elections in November, and now it's time to see how their presence will impact crypto-related matters. The Republican-led House has started voting for its speaker, but attention is expected to shift to crypto market structure and stablecoin legislation in the coming months. Allison Behuniak, staff director of the House Financial Services Committee's digital assets subcommittee, has been appointed as the committee's policy director. In total, 298 crypto-friendly legislators have been identified in the 119th Congress, and efforts are being made to build camaraderie among them. There is optimism that these politicians will follow through on their pro-crypto stance.
