BingX, a prominent crypto exchange, has successfully recovered over 700 tokens and resumed its full suite of services after a major security breach in September 2024. The hack resulted in the theft of over $50 million worth of crypto, but the actual loss has not been reported. The hacker stole 360 altcoins valued at over $43 million, which were converted to Ethereum and Binance Coin. Despite the scale of the attack, BingX acted quickly to mitigate the damage and restore key services. The exchange has gradually restored services for altcoins and plans to strengthen its security measures moving forward.
