The native cryptocurrencies of blockchain projects focused on artificial intelligence (AI) have seen significant gains in the market despite broader losses in the crypto market. This follows Apple's announcement of "Apple Intelligence," which aims to bring AI capabilities to smartphones. The ICP token of the Internet Computer Protocol and FET token of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance were among the best-performing tokens, with double-digit gains seen in smaller tokens like ChartAI's EYE. Bitcoin, ether, and other prominent cryptocurrencies experienced losses after a poor showing by pro-crypto U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump in a debate with rival Kamala Harris. Apple's event did not mention crypto or blockchain directly, but market participants anticipate a positive impact on the AI and blockchain sectors.
