Bitcoin experienced a price jump to $58,000 on two occasions but was unable to sustain this level and faced a decline. Most altcoins also witnessed minor declines, except for ICP which saw a significant 12% surge. Bitcoin had a challenging end to the previous week, but managed to avoid further breakdown towards $50,000. It reached a multi-day peak of $58,000 on Monday, but failed to maintain this level and faced a subsequent rejection. Currently, Bitcoin stands close to $56,500 with a market cap of $1.150 trillion. Other altcoins like Ethereum, BNB, SOL, DOGE, XRP, ADA, AVAX, and SHIB also experienced losses, while AAVE saw a 9% surge and ICP jumped by 12%. Overall, the cumulative market cap of all crypto assets has declined by $30 billion and stands at $2.080 trillion.
