Cardano (ADA), a popular cryptocurrency platform, has been making strides towards its future as evidenced by its latest network statistics update. On April 28, 2023, Input Output Global (IOG) published its weekly development report, highlighting the progress that has been made in the past week across multiple areas.

The report's core technology section revealed that the team responsible for the Conway ledger era development have integrated support for Plutus v3, fine-tuned the delegation certificates, and made improvements to the ledger API to improve its functionality. In wallet and service development, the Daedalus team removed Catalyst fund information and made it possible for users to independently fetch the ada price without relying on the CoinGecko API. They have also streamlined TSL certificate generation to assist in debugging and refine the Lace desktop development to boost code quality.

Meanwhile, the Plutus and Marlowe teams have each made progress in their respective areas. Plutus is currently refining the Marconi indexers and built-in functions for BLS12-381 curves, while Marlowe is working on Runtime submit flow and updating the documentation. The Hydra team has focused on ensuring state machine continuity on-chain and is close to completing their release, with the Mithril team in the process of developing a new certifier service and implementing new data type interfaces.

The development report also included an impressive infographic which showed the growth of the network. Since its launch, the platform has seen over 8.18 million native tokens created, 1,230 projects actively being built in the network, and 65.4 million transactions processed. Additionally, 7,828 Plutus scripts have been activated, demonstrating how far Cardano's progress has come.
