The AI platform Kaito has introduced a tweet-to-earn leaderboard called Yaps, where users can earn points by posting about crypto. The platform analyzes users' tweets and determines their point allocation based on the content and influence of their followers. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao is currently the top yapper, overtaking Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin. Some users are trying to exploit the system by encouraging engagement from influential followers and posting at optimal times. There have been reports of possible loopholes in the system, such as repeatedly using the word "reply" in posts. Kaito refers to its leaderboard as "InfoFi," but it is essentially a popularity contest rather than strictly merit-based. It is unclear whether the accumulation of Yap points will lead to any tangible rewards or token airdrops in the future.
