CK Zheng, the Chief Investment Officer of a crypto hedge fund, believes that if history repeats itself, Ethereum could experience a significant rally in the first quarter of 2025. Zheng points to previous years when Ethereum performed well during the first quarters after US elections and the Bitcoin halving cycle. On the other hand, Markus Thielen, the founder of 10x Research, offers a more cautious outlook on Ethereum. He predicts that Ethereum will underperform due to a hawkish macroeconomic environment and declining liquidity. Thielen believes that Ethereum may fail to break a new all-time high in 2025.
