The real-world asset (RWA) sector has seen a tremendous increase in value, growing 58 times its previous valuation. Data from DeFiLlama shows that the total value locked (TVL) in the RWA sector has reached an all-time high of $8.217 billion, with a $1 billion increase in the past week. Market leaders like Usual and Hashnote are driving this growth, with Hashnote seeing a weekly increase of 65.58% and Usual experiencing a slightly higher growth of 65.65%. Usual recently raised $10 million in a funding round and saw its governance token soar to an all-time high. Other platforms like Nest Staking and MatrixDock also saw increases in TVL, while some protocols like Solv and Maker RWA experienced declines. The growing trend of tokenizing real-world assets could lead to a shift in how traditional assets are managed and traded.
