According to a cryptocurrency trader known as DonAlt, the price of XRP could double if it breaks out of its current trading range. The range is between support at $2.20 and resistance at $2.60. XRP has been trading within this range since early December. Currently, XRP is priced at $2.47 and has seen a 2.6% increase in the past 24 hours. XRP has also reclaimed its position as the third-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, surpassing Tether. The token is rallying ahead of the launch of Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin, which is expected to be available on major exchanges soon. Despite a significant rally in November, DonAlt believes that XRP has more potential for growth. The emergence of XRP ETFs could also be a bullish catalyst for the token. XRP is still 27.3% away from reaching its all-time high from seven years ago.
