LINE NEXT Inc. and the Kaia DLT Foundation are collaborating to launch "Mini Dapps" and a dedicated Dapp Portal in Q1 2025. The aim is to enhance the accessibility of Web3 tools for users by allowing them to access these services directly through the LINE Messenger app. The initiative is part of the Kaia Wave program, which aims to empower global Web3 developers. 30 teams were selected for the first phase, and the plan is to expand to 150 additional Mini Dapp projects in the first half of 2025. The Mini Dapp projects include games, wellness-focused apps, and other interactive experiences. Selected teams will receive support, resources, and investment opportunities to develop their Dapps. The Dapp Portal serves as a hub for users to discover, download, and engage with Mini Dapps within LINE Messenger. Additionally, an SDK for developers was unveiled to simplify the process of building and deploying Mini Dapps on the Kaia chain.
