Dan Morehead, founder of Pantera Capital, a cryptocurrency-focused hedge fund, predicts that 2025 will be a significant year for Bitcoin and stablecoins due to clear regulations allowing more institutions to enter the space. More institutions getting involved is expected to benefit the market. BlackRock's recommendation of a 1-2% Bitcoin allocation for investors is seen as a "massive" moment for crypto and may lead to broader institutional adoption. Morehead believes that there is increased interest in Bitcoin and that its price doubling this year is not remarkable since it has historically done so for 11 years. Pantera Capital remains bullish and holds positions in other tokens like TON and SOL. Morehead has also predicted that Bitcoin could reach $740,000.
