Ripple CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, has warned the XRP community about falling for scams on social media, following the compromise of the Supreme Court of India's YouTube channel for promoting an XRP scam. Garlinghouse emphasized that Ripple executives never ask for XRP tokens. He expressed concern about the increasing sophistication of cryptocurrency scams due to generative artificial intelligence (AI). Garlinghouse had previously faced fake video scams that used his cloned voice to promote fraudulent activities. The FBI recently revealed that Americans lost $5.6 billion to crypto scams in 2023.
