Crypto.com has received approval from the Central Bank of Bahrain to provide payment service provider (PSP) services through its subsidiary, FORIS GFS BH B.S.C. CLOSED. This approval allows Crypto.com to expand its services and offer e-money and fiat-based payment solutions in Bahrain. The company plans to introduce prepaid cards in the region as part of its expansion. Bahrain is known for its digital asset regulation and was one of the first in the region to issue crypto-asset licenses. This approval adds to Crypto.com's regulatory accomplishments, including recently obtaining a Virtual Asset Service Provider License from Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority. The company currently has over 100 million users and holds licenses in various markets worldwide.
