Bitcoin has experienced a significant price increase, surpassing $100,000 and briefly reaching $102,000. Altcoins have also seen substantial gains, with several experiencing double-digit price surges. Bitcoin attempted to break the six-digit mark multiple times but faced resistance. However, it managed to bounce back and reach $102,000 before falling slightly below $101,000. Despite not setting a new all-time high, Bitcoin has maintained its position within six-digit territory. The cryptocurrency's market capitalization is nearing $2 trillion, with its dominance over altcoins decreasing slightly to 52.3%. Altcoins faced losses earlier in the week but have since recovered with impressive gains. AAVE, HYPE, SUI, LINK, BEAM, UNI, ENA, APT, and others have all experienced double-digit price surges. Larger-cap altcoins like ETH, XRP, BNB, DOGE, ADA, and TRX have also seen modest increases. The overall market capitalization has risen by over $200 billion to over $3.8 trillion.
