The MEXC cryptocurrency exchange in Turkey is facing access restrictions due to new regulatory measures implemented by the government. Turkish language support has been removed from multiple global platforms, and certain exchanges are now blocked from operating within the country. The Capital Markets Board enforced a ban on the MEXC website on December 11. Some users are bypassing the restriction using VPNs or alternative internet service providers, but the ban is expected to extend to all local operators. MEXC's Turkish account cited "technical reasons" for the access issues and assured users that their assets remain secure. This situation reflects the growing regulatory challenges faced by cryptocurrency exchanges as governments seek clearer frameworks for digital assets.
