Colby Winegar has been promoted to the position of CEO of decentralized cloud-storage platform, Storj. The outgoing CEO, Ben Golub, will remain with the company as executive chair. Winegar, who was previously the chief revenue officer, has a strong background in the cloud-storage industry, having co-founded and led CrowdStorage, the world's largest distributed cloud-storage platform at the time. The Storj platform is supported by its own native cryptocurrency, STORJ, which is currently trading at around $0.47. Golub praised Winegar for his pivotal role in the company's growth and recent acquisitions.
