The cryptocurrency analytics platform CryptoQuant has reported that transaction fees for Ethereum have consistently been more expensive than those for Bitcoin in recent months. The graph shared by the CEO shows that Bitcoin's fees have remained in the range of $0.50 to $3.00, while Ethereum's fees tend to stay between $3 and $6. This comes as Ethereum fees experienced a 41% drop in the past month, while Bitcoin miners earned only $731,000 worth of fees compared to Ethereum users who paid a total of $3.2 million in fees yesterday. Bitcoin miners have been struggling with profitability despite the increase in Bitcoin's price, with the industry spending nearly $2 billion over the past two months on Bitcoin purchases to mitigate the impact of tightening margins.
