Crypto super PAC Fairshake, through its affiliate PAC Defend American Jobs, is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to support pro-crypto candidates in the special elections to fill the two Florida congressional seats vacated by Matt Gaetz and Michael Waltz. Gaetz resigned amid an ethics investigation, while Waltz was tapped by President-elect Donald Trump as a national security advisor. Fairshake is backing Jimmy Patronis for Gaetz's seat and Randy Fine for Waltz's seat, with both candidates receiving substantial ad spending from the PAC. Fairshake has previously spent $139 million to support 53 lawmakers in Congress and currently has $103 million in funds for the next election cycle.
