Beware of scams! Over the past few weeks, Starknet has been the target of fraudulent activities regarding the airdrop of their tokens. On Discord, Twitter, and Telegram, there are numerous private messages from fake accounts claiming that the project is releasing tokens or airdrops. Fortunately, the alert was raised by Starknet, alerting users that all these accounts are just fake scams.

Starknet is an Ethereum Layer 2 network which utilizes ZK-Rollups technology. This technology allows developers to deploy and scale dApps without any restrictions related to the business. In addition, the programming language used by Starknet, called Cairo, allows for secure dApp development.

With a project like this, a potential airdrop had become very hot in the news. However, as all cryptocurrency users should be aware of, there are many fraudulent activities out there. Anything claiming to be an airdrop, even on accounts with thousands of follows, could be a scam.

Following the market recovery from the 'crypto winter', scammers have become much more active. Despite the initiative campaigns for the awareness of these fraudulent activities, the majority of airdrops from well-known and established projects are scams.

Cryptocurrency users should, therefore, be always cautious when it comes to investing and should always do their own research before making any final decisions.
