The cryptocurrency market has recently seen some major changes in its prices. Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency of the market, experienced a huge shift in its price during the last week. Just last Monday, Bitcoin's price dropped to $27,200 due to some baseless news that Interpol served Binance CEO CZ with a Red Notice. However, shortly after Zhao refuted the fake news, the price increased again, nearly reaching its all-time high at $29,000. Although Bitcoin failed to stay above the $29k level, it was able to stabilize itself above $28k. The cryptocurrency's market capitalization has currently reclaimed the $540 billion level. Along with Bitcoin's success, some top 10 altcoins have also performed positively. Cardano saw a remarkable 3% growth, moving closer to the $0.4 level. Whereas other altcoins such as Ethereum, Binance, XRP, Dogecoin, Polka Dots also noted a mild increase in prices. On the other hand, some notable gainers from the top 50 altcoins were Filecoin and ICP. The total crypto market cap has remained almost unchanged at a steady $1.185 trillion, amid the weekend's low trading volumes.
