Burger King, a global fast-food chain, is currently entertaining some interesting conversations with the Dogecoin (DOGE) community. In a recent tweet, the chain asked to convince its manager to have an office doge. This garnered a plethora of responses from fans of the cryptocurrency, such as when Burger King would accept DOGE for its meals.

This piqued the interest of DOGE believers, making them eagerly anticipate the announcement that Burger King might indeed allow customers to buy food with DOGE. Previous affirmation from the Burger King camp regarding cryptocurrencies has provided more impetus to the idea.

One example of such attempts to increase usage of Bitcoin was seen in 2021 with Burger King Brazil allowing for Dogecoin payments for its Dogpper dog snacks and also airing a corresponding advertisement across the nation. Similarly, Burger King U.S. and financial investing platform Robinhood announced a promotion in November of the same year, offering a collective 20 Bitcoins, 200 Ethers, and 2 million Dogecoins to its customers.

Despite these developments and the community's enthusiasm, Burger King has not responded regarding their plans of accepting Dogecoin payments. As of now, on the direction of its price at the time of writing, Dogecoin grew 2.26%, standing at $0.076. It is too early to conclude if this was the result of Burger King's tweet, but it's worth noting that the coin has had an impressive year and remains a much beloved cryptocurrency with a vibrant community.
