The Bitcoin whitepaper, written by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008, has been translated into 43 languages, including Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Russian and French. This is being done by volunteers to make the contents of the whitepaper more accessible and understandable, eliminating language as a barrier. Furthermore, it is also available in braille to cater to people with visual impairments. This demonstrates how much effort is being put into promoting the understanding of Bitcoin.

Anyone, regardless of location or language, has the opportunity to contribute to the dissemination of Bitcoin knowledge by submitting requests through the bitcoin.org Github page. This is a great way to make a difference, as it increases the number of people that have access to this revolutionary technology.

Last week, it was publicly revealed that Apple has added the Bitcoin whitepaper to its macOS computer preinstalled as “simpledoc.pdf”. This is one of the first moves made by a major corporate entity in recognizing the technology behind Bitcoin.

Apple’s addition of the Bitcoin whitepaper to its systems led to Craig Wright, the self-proclaimed Satoshi, accusing the tech giant of breaching copyright laws. Wright’s claim is not supported by experts, as the document is registered to the Public Domain Mark a year before Apple's addition. This small episode demonstrates how passionate the crypto community is about Bitcoin’s underlying technology and its understanding.
