The XRP army, a dedicated online community of supporters for the cryptocurrency XRP, had a subtle presence at Ripple Labs' annual event, Ripple Swell, which attracted many of the company's customers and partners. XRP, which aims to improve the global financial system through cross-border transactions, has seen substantial social growth with a rise in activity and content creation in 2023. Ripple recently announced a list of cryptocurrency exchanges and trading platforms that will support its RLUSD stablecoin, and some of these companies have issued promotional calls aimed at the XRP army. The event, held in Miami, had a more professional and business-like atmosphere compared to other crypto events, with attendees noting the use of LinkedIn for networking. The XRP army has gained a reputation for its intense support and defense of XRP, sometimes being referred to as a cult. The event will also include a dedicated night for the XRP community.
