In the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market has seen a significant increase in liquidations, totaling $287.65 million. Bitcoin and Ethereum experienced the highest liquidation values, with $80 million and $66.52 million losses, respectively. Major exchanges such as Binance, OKX, and Bybit were heavily affected, with Binance recording the highest liquidation amount at $132.55 million. Leveraged positions played a significant role in the liquidations, with long positions being the majority. This surge in liquidations highlights the risks associated with trading in volatile markets, and analysts are closely monitoring Bitcoin and Ethereum's price movements to gauge future volatility.
