Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has launched a new feature that allows its customers to restake their already-staked Ethereum (ETH) on the Ethereum network and earn additional rewards through the EigenLayer decentralized finance protocol. The feature aims to provide broader investor access to yield-bearing opportunities on-chain, making restaking more accessible. Kraken subsidiary Staked has been chosen as the validator for ETH restaked. Restaking involves using already staked cryptocurrencies to provide additional security and perform functions across multiple protocols, increasing overall yield. The feature is available in Europe but not in the US and other restricted jurisdictions.
