Ubisoft, a gaming giant, is launching a 10,000 piece NFT collection on the Ethereum scaling network Arbitrum via the Magic Eden marketplace. The NFTs will grant holders early access to the upcoming game Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E. and allow them to participate in the game's governance model. The NFTs will also track player progress, evolve with increasing scores, and unlock new perks. Holders will have the ability to earn rewards and unlock user-generated content. The collaboration between Ubisoft and Arbitrum marks the start of Arbitrum support on the Magic Eden NFT marketplace. Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E. is Ubisoft's second blockchain game, following Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles. Ubisoft has been involved in the crypto world for years and has previously released in-game NFTs for its Ghost Recon: Breakpoint game.
