The investigation has since been concluded in a positive manner for BCB, and the company is now in talks with the regulator about expanding its license. BCB is an important intermediary for cryptocurrency firms, providing banking services to major institutions in the digital asset sector. The former chief compliance officer of BCB, Natasha Powell, has resigned and will be joining crypto exchange Kraken as head of UK compliance in November. BCB recently received a takeover approach while exploring a funding round.
