In September, venture capital funds invested over $659 million in crypto startups, a 3% increase from August. The blockchain gaming sector saw significant growth, with $63 million invested, a 32% monthly increase. Balance Games received the most funding, with $30 million, to combine blockchain and AI for user experiences. Blockchain infrastructure projects received $457 million, accounting for 71.5% of the funds. Celestia raised $100 million, while Huma Finance secured $38 million for its blockchain-based payment network. DeFi ecosystem startups received $58 million, a 55% decrease from August. Web3 adoption also saw investment, with $59 million directed towards traditional service blockchain versions. Tune.fm, a decentralized music streaming platform, raised $50 million.
