According to Nate Geraci, President of The ETF Store, although Ethereum (ETH) ETFs have had weak performance, the demand for cryptocurrency-related ETFs overall is stronger than expected. Geraci highlighted that many of the best-performing ETFs launched in 2024 are tied to cryptocurrencies, indicating a strong market appetite for exposure to crypto assets. He also noted that out of the 525 ETFs launched this year, 13 of the top 25 are directly related to Bitcoin or Ethereum. Furthermore, he mentioned that the top four ETFs are all spot Bitcoin ETFs, with BlackRock's IBIT in first place. Additionally, BlackRock's Ethereum ETF, ETHA, ranked 7th in overall inflows, suggesting that Ethereum-focused ETFs are also gaining momentum.
