Bitcoin maximalist Samson Mow is calling for the Ethereum chain to be rolled back after North Korean hackers stole $1.4 billion worth of Ethereum from the Bybit exchange. Mow, along with other Bitcoin maximalists, has been trolling Ethereum's leader Vitalik Buterin by spreading a tweet suggesting they are discussing the best way to roll back Ethereum. Other large crypto exchanges, including Binance, are sending tens of millions of dollars in ETH to Bybit to help the platform recover. Mow believes rolling back Ethereum is necessary to return the stolen funds and prevent their potential use to finance North Korea's nuclear weapons program. He also suggests this is an opportunity to adjust the deflationary burn mechanism of Ethereum's EIP-1559.
