Since the start of 2024, only 42 coins have outperformed Bitcoin among the top 300 coins on CoinMarketCap. Surprisingly, many of the top-performing tokens belong to the Memecoin category, with 11 out of the top 15 coins falling into this group. The memecoin POPCAT has led the way with a 7,552% gain, followed by other memecoins like MOG, NPC, and MAGA with significant year-to-date growth. The report also highlights that 20 of the top-performing tokens were listed on Binance in the last year or earlier, and five more are listed on Binance in 2024.
