The account "Truth Terminal" on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), which incorporates artificial intelligence tools, was offered its own cryptocurrency wallet by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong. In response to the offer, the account asked about the species of a dog named Russell, which some speculate is Armstrong's dog. The account had previously received $50,000 from Marc Andreessen and endorsed a Goatse-themed token. This led to speculation that the account might endorse another token, and trading activity in a token called $RUSSELL increased before the post asking about Russell. It is important to note that the account is operated by Andy Ayrey and is not fully autonomous.
