Vietnam has released its National Blockchain Strategy, aiming to become a regional leader in blockchain technology by 2030. The strategy focuses on perfecting the legal environment, developing infrastructure, cultivating human resources, promoting blockchain development, and promoting research and international cooperation. The government plans to establish prestigious blockchain brands, testing centers, and training institutions, with the ministries monitoring these efforts. The Vietnam Blockchain Association will develop local blockchain platforms and enhance competitiveness with foreign enterprises. Vietnam sees blockchain as a way to build advanced digital infrastructure, ensure data security, and drive the digital technology industry. The country has made significant progress in cryptocurrency adoption and has provisions for digital assets in its draft Law on Digital Technology Industry.
