Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has addressed calls for transparency and defended his contributions to the development of the blockchain ecosystem. In a video, Hoskinson revealed that he has spent $450 million of his own money on the Cardano project, including $38 million in payments made in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Responding to demands for the publication of Cardano's financials, Hoskinson highlighted that the blockchain operates differently from profit-driven businesses. While some members of the cryptocurrency community have criticized Hoskinson, he remains confident in Cardano's potential to surpass Bitcoin and Ethereum in the next decade. The price of ADA, Cardano's native cryptocurrency, has experienced volatility and is currently trading at $0.3341.
