Semler Scientific, a medical device company, has disclosed that it has made additional purchases of bitcoin alongside its third quarter earnings results. The firm now holds 1,058 bitcoin, having purchased 47 BTC for $3 million since its last acquisition disclosure in late August. The company plans to continue buying bitcoin with its cash from operations and proceeds from its stock sales program, and is also exploring additional financing opportunities to acquire even more bitcoin. Overall, Semler has spent $71 million on its bitcoin purchases, and the 1,058 tokens are currently valued at roughly $71.4 million.
