The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has initiated the review process for a proposal to uplist Grayscale's Digital Large Cap Fund to an exchange-traded fund (ETF). NYSE Arca recently submitted a proposal to list and trade shares of the fund, and the SEC's decision to add it to the Federal Register confirms that the review process is now underway. The proposal includes expanding the definition of exchange-traded products to include commodities and digital assets beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. The review process could take up to 240 days under U.S. securities laws. If approved, it would be the first multi-token ETF to list and trade on a national securities exchange.
