Changpeng Zhao, the former CEO of Binance, believes that major cryptocurrencies will be able to withstand a market crash. He acknowledges that holding onto cryptocurrencies can be challenging, but he rejects the idea that exchanges can accurately predict market movements. Instead, he attributes his success in predicting prices to being able to foresee long-term trends, such as tech innovation in areas such as blockchain and AI. Zhao also believes that the performance of Bitcoin is only closely tied to economic indicators in the short term. The price of Bitcoin has recently dropped to its lowest level since November, following the decline in the U.S. stock market, with the Nasdaq index on track for its worst drop since 2022.
